This page explains what information I collect through this website and how I use it. Last updated October 2026.

What I collect

When you send a project brief through the contact form, I receive what you enter: your name, email address, institution or lab, and the details of your project (type of figure, target journal, deadline, budget and description). If you email or message me directly, I receive whatever you include in that message.

How I use it

  • To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and carry out the project you commission.
  • To send invoices and keep basic business records.

I do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone for marketing, and I do not add you to a mailing list.

Unpublished research

Manuscripts, data and findings you share for a project are used only to create your figures and are kept confidential. I will sign an NDA on request. Finished work is only shown in my portfolio after it is published, or with your permission.

Payments

Payments are handled by PayPal (including card payments through PayPal checkout) or by crypto transfer. I never see or store your card details; PayPal processes them under its own privacy policy.

Website hosting and cookies

This site is hosted on WordPress.com, which may use cookies and collect standard visitor statistics. See Automattic’s privacy policy for details.

Your choices

You can ask me at any time to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you. Email szamenmilani@gmail.com and I will respond within a few days.
